FOSCARINI - PLI lamp
Everything comes from light. Based on this premise, with Foscarini the young Danish designer Felicia Arvid has created PLI, a lamp that takes shape around its light source: a tube containing two LED strips. Pli stems from a gesture resembling that of a dressmaker with fabric, needle and thread. A thin perforated sheet of finest Italian paper is crossed by the luminous tube, transforming from a flat surface into a three dimensional presence that becomes an unexpected shade made of folds and draping, apparently as soft as a garment. Original BTC - Magnus
Magnus is a modular lighting collection exploring and celebrating the fluidity and natural movement of molten glass. Available in various formations, the opal glass shades – hand blown at our Oxfordshire glassworks – are set against a blackened bronze frame, creating a striking balance between lightness and structure. Each variation has been designed to allow for maximum flexibility in placement; the linear composition is available with two, three, and four lights form a linear composition, for use over long tables or kitchen islands. ARTEMIDE - NESSINO Special Edition
Artemide is introducing a special edition of the lamp that has become a design icon, with its mushroom shape and bright orange or white hues. Part of the “Modern Classics” reissued line, it was a marvel of ABS thermoplastic injection-molding when first introduced in 1967 thus bringing industrial materials and methods to the home and office environments. A dash of color and a design inspired from nature, Nessino stems from the visionary identity of Artemide. With its smaller size, Nessino finds its place in a wide range of settings.
